Linux images, including Ubuntu and Debian, run on every plan and deploy in under 30 seconds. Windows Server runs on plans with 2 or more vCPU and deploys in 2–4 minutes, depending on the image size. Windows Server images are bring your own license (BYOL) and deploy unlicensed as a 180-day evaluation.

When enabled, backups run daily into 7 backup slots, and the oldest is deleted when all 7 are full. Backups add 20% to the server's monthly price. Snapshots are manual, kept until you delete them, cost $0.04 per GB per month, and are available for Linux images only.
